Grape Varieties: 100% Syrah
Soil Type: Ferruginous granite, with iron and schist

Aging: 18 months in 550L barrel. Up to 1/3 new oak used each vintage. Bottled unfined & unfiltered.
Tasting Notes: An intensely dark Syrah that captures the floral and smoky side of the Côte-Rôtie. Full bodied, with biting tannins that are accented by perfumed violets, crushed black plums, pulverized stone and hints of fennel-spiced salami. The finish is long and brooding, making it a great pairing for any intense game meat or grilled foods, or to keep your cellar stocked while you exercise patience.
