FRANCE

A young new vigneron on the scene, Thibaud Boudignon has already made a big name for himself. He farms small parcels of Chenin Blanc and Cab Franc all by hand and by heart. He rebuilt and renovated a centuries-old cellar where he works (and lives above) in Savennieres.

Winemaker: Thibaud Boudignon

Farming: Organic

Grape Varieties: Chenin Blanc

Terroir / Soil: Sand & Schist From the lieu-dit adjacent to “Clos de la Hutte” in
Possonniere

Winemaking: Biodynamic (practicing) farming, 35-year-old vines hand-harvested then
native yeast fermented in French and Austrian barrels (various sizes) no malolactic.

Aging: Aged in demi-muids of 500-600L volume, up to 10% new.

Tasting Notes: This is the most delicate and aromatic expression of Chenin from the domain. Very soft and elegant in its texture and in the nose, it offers a seductive, mouth-watering mix of mandarine orange, sliced red apples, and seashell minerality.

Only 5,000 bottles were produced.
