  • Winemaker: Cyril Audoin
  • Farming: Organic
  • Varieties: Pinot Noir
  • Terroir: This Marsannay Les Longeroies vineyard is the largest of the Marsannay appellation lieu-dits. Located on the northern side of town moving south towards the village and halfway up the hill, and south of Clos du Roy. As you move uphill, the berries get smaller and more millerandé, versus the larger berries and denser bunches on the deeper soils below.
  • Vinification:  The hand-harvested grapes were macerated for 15 days, then transferred to 20% new oak barrels to age for 12 to 18 months and six months in tanks. The wine is bottled without fining or filtration
  • Tasting Note: Plush and welcoming, this wine is in a great drinking window. Smoked maraschino cherries, damp eucalyptus, and sweet, chewy licorice all come to mind, pefect for pairing alongside gamey roast duck or a classic boeuf bourguignon. -SG
