- Variety: 100% Syrah (average 25+ yr old vines)
- Terroir: .72 hectares on lower slopes with more alluvial fans, plus young-vine fruit from granite hillsides.
- Vinification: Grapes are harvested by hand, mostly destemmed (50-80%, depending on the vintage), grapes are lightly crushed before fementation starts spontaneously with indigenous yeasts in large open vats.
- Aging: aged for 10 months in old demi-muid. Bottled unfiltered before the following year's harvest.
