- Terroir: Bassi Ranch on sandy soils. The vines are located a stone’s throw from Avila Beach and are farmed with biodynamic principles.

Vinification: Full skin contact, the grapes, once harvested, are fermented entirely in terra cotta amphora, and spend 180-day maceration in Italian amphora on its skins before being pressed and returned to amphora for eight months maturation. Unfined, unfiltered.

Tasting Notes: This 100% skin contact Pinot Grigio picked up quite a bit of color this vintage and exhibits red fruit qualities such as cherry and strawberry. The palate is loaded with more red fruit, hibiscus tea and a bit of radicchio like bitterness on the finish.
