The Moncuit family can trace their origins as grape growers in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger to the end of the 19th century. Since 1977, sister-brother duo Nicole and Yves Moncuit have shared the responsibilities of managing the estate.  Moncuit Champagnes, including the NV bottlings, are always produced from a single vintage, in an effort to more precisely express the characteristics of the individual growing season.
These are quintessential examples of Blanc de Blancs Champagne, with racy, mineral-laden palates, and youthful fruit expressions that makes them wines to enjoy right out of the blocks and for years to come.

Winemaker: Nicole Moncuit
Farming: Sustainable
Variety: 100% Chardonnay
Terroir: Grapes are harvested from select parcels within the Grand Cru of Les Mesnil-sur-Oger. Average of 30 year old vines in chalk and limestone.
Vinification:  Grapes are hand harvested, fermentation takes place in stainless steel using natural yeasts. 100% malolactic fermentation.
Aging: Aged in stainless steel. Bottled and allowed to age on the lees for a minimum of 3 years before disgorgement, then aged an additional 3 months. Dosage is 7 grams/liter
Tasting Note: Made from 100% Gand Cru Le Mesnil fruit, this flagship Blanc de Blancs cuvee is a racy and transparent expression of this famed site and always a single vintage; 7 gr/l dosage
Scores: Vinous, 93pts. The NV (2017) Brut Blanc de Blancs Delos Grand Cru is effusive, bright and focused. The added dosage in the Brut version versus the Extra Brut lends texture and resonance while enhancing all the orchard fruit, citrus and floral flavors. Ample and broad, with notable depth, the Brut is a pure and total delight. Disgorged: May, 2021.
