Terroir: Bassi Vineyard, 3 miles from San Luis Obispo Bay, planted 2001. loamy san soils, with hard marine sandstone bedrock.
Vinification: Native Yeast. Foot tread. 100% whole cluster. Fermented on skins for 4 days. Neutral french oak and stainless steel, 10 months. Aged 9 months with regular racking. Unfined, unfiltered. 

Tasting Notes: Lightly floral on the nose with hints of match stick. Flavors of blood orange, lightly structured for a Ramato with a backbone of acidity.
