A young new vigneron on the scene, Thibaud Boudignon has already made a big name for himself. He farms small parcels of Chenin Blanc and Cab Franc all by hand and by heart. He rebuilt and renovated a centuries-old cellar where he works (and lives above) in Savennieres.

Terroir / Soil: Sand & Schist From the lieu-dit adjacent to “Clos de la Hutte” in
Winemaking: Biodynamic (practicing) farming, 35 year old vines hand-harvested then
native yeast fermented in French and Austrian barrels (various size) no malolactic.
Aging: Barrels of 350L + 700L volume, up to 10% new.
Tasting Notes: Medium bodied and expressive, the 2019 vintage shows powerful notes of quince, mandarin orange, yellow apples and a decidedly flinty note, with lots of balance and finesse across the palate.
