Tyler 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon, Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara, CA
Justin Tyler Willett was an assistant winemaker at a Sta. Rita Hills winery, when he had the chance to make some of his own wine in the cellar. In 2005 at 24 years old, he made his first few barrels of Tyler.
He is known for his deft attention to Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, and while his 28-acre property of vines is maturing, he sources grapes from the best vineyards in Santa Barbara, including Cabernet Sauvignon from Happy Canyon.
