Located in West SoMa, San Francisco, DECANTsf is a hybrid bottle shop and bar that offers a unique and inviting space for a variety of occasions. Whether you're planning a corporate gathering, holiday celebration, wine tasting, or team-building event, DECANTsf is the ideal setting. Host your own private event with us! We have a 49-person capacity shop and bar. DECANTsf is a budget-friendly venue that keeps your tastes and needs in mind.

The Private Tasting experience is a high-touch guided wine tasting with our sommeliers and requires advanced booking. Gratuity is included in the price of each tasting.
The DECANTsf sommeliers guide you through a tasting of fine wines. You choose the theme, we choose the wines. Each guest will receive a flight of four wines, 3-4oz. each. You'll learn about the estates, history, and the varieties themselves. Snacks are available to add on, as well. Give yourself up to two hours to enjoy.
Advanced booking is required for the Private Tastings at DECANTsf. Pricing is per group and includes gratuity. Taxes will be collected at booking.

DECANT will come to you at your home, your office, or your chosen event venue. If you have contracted catering staff, DECANTsf can be on hand to direct wine service.

- $200/hour per Sommelier with beverage purchased through DECANTsf
- $75 transportation fee (within 10 miles)
- Free delivery (up to 10 cases)

Sommelier Services include:
- A personal sommelier to discuss the featured wines

Venue Description:
DECANTsf offers a charming and versatile space with a comfortable interior with communal tables for group gatherings. The ambiance is relaxed and inviting, perfect for creating memorable experiences.
Event Services and Amenities:
Accommodation: Our space can host up to 49 guests at a time for private buyouts. For smaller group parties, we have three large communal tables available for booking, accommodating anywhere from 6 to 22 people. Preview our space via Google360.
Food and Beverage: Enjoy a selection of wine-friendly snacks, including cheeses, charcuterie, caviar, and Iberian-inspired tinned fish, expertly paired with our global and sustainable wine and beer offerings. We also provide a variety of alcohol-free options for non-drinkers, as well as work with talented caterers for larger meals.
Audio-Visual Equipment: DECANTsf is equipped with Audio-Visual equipment, including a 60-inch pull-down screen, ideal for presentations and screenings during your event.
Team Building and Fun: We partner with great makers to enhance your event. Ask about photo booths, tarot readings, crafting, flower arranging, and more!

This was our second anniversary under COVID-19 Lockdown, but this time we decided to have a (safe) party to welcome back our guests and celebrate our longevity. Winemakers from Sandar & Hem, Highlawn Wine Co., BirdHorse Wines, and Maître de Chai poured, while DABAO Singapore made delicious snacks.
The Caviar Co. hosted their annual National Caviar Day event with DECANTsf for San Francisco Chefs and Sommeliers. Cheese provided by Cypress Grove and Bubble Bar by Valkyrie Selections, who poured Hattingley Valley Cuvée Reserve from England, Raventós í Blanc ‘de Nit’ Rosé Brut, and Larmandier-Bernier “Latitude” Blanc de Blancs Champagne.

Every DECEMBER, we host our biggest party! The Winter Fête is a walk-around tasting of caviar and sparkling wine, with special discounts on all orders placed that evening. The Caviar Co presents a lavish curated tasting bar of caviar, and some of our favorite sparkling wine importers were be on hand to pour through a SERIOUS selection of bubbles from Champagne, Spain, England, Germany and more. By attending the event, guests were entitled to great savings on all purchases and pre-orders that night.
We partner with Chefs in the Bay Area to explore the fundamentals of food and wine pairing and to teach guests what works when deciding what bottle of wine to drink with your meal.
