Vacqueyras was an original cru of southern Côtes du Rhône wines and gained it's own AOP in 1990. in Its terroir is located at the foot and on the sides of the Dentelles de Montmirail massif, and extends over the municipalities of Vacqueyras and the Hautes Garrigues de Sarrians over an area of 1300 hectares.

- Varieties: 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah, 5% Mourvèdre
- Terroir: High scrubland of rolled pebbles, clay, sand. 45+ year old vines.
- Vinification: Fermentation in tun barrel during 12 to 18 months
- Tasting Notes: Full bodied and satisfying, this classic southern Rhone wine has hefty aromas of cassis, black forest cherries, Mediterranean thyme and crushed stone.
- Pairings: A long, voluptuous finish makes it a great pairing for red meats and game birds.
